Principles Compromised Equals Purposes Eroded

Principles Compromised Equals Purposes Eroded

I am writing today as I am on a trip to Washington, D.C. with my daughter’s 8th grade class. It is a trip her school does every year with the 8th grade so they can see the nations capitol, learn about the government, and of course see the history that this country was built on. As this is my first trip to D.C., I must say it is awesome so far, and is a true reminder of the principles this country was founded on.

The more time presses on the more the principles of foundation of this country seem to be stretched and attempts made to change them. While I am all about progression, you can not change the principles of foundation and not have major infrastructure problems. This makes me wonder if the same is not true of chiropractic. It seems the more time presses on the more the principles of our chiropractic foundation are stretched and more and more attempts are made to try to change them. And just like the government, you can’t undermine the foundation and not expect infrastructure problems to appear in your practice and chiropractic business.

Be a chiropractor that stands on the foundational principles of your profession.
The foundation is still solid for those who choose to stand on it. Those that want to tiptoe around the edge of it are on shaky ground as the old saying goes. And sooner or later they lose their foothold. You can build on principles, but you can not change them without eroding the purpose of the original principle.

One thing I know for sure is this. Not all principled chiropractors are successful, but nearly all super successful chiropractors are extremely principled. Doctors that do not have a solid foothold on the foundational principles of chiropractic are not able to build an infrastructure for long term chiropractic business success.

Build a success sustaining practice by staying on the solid rock of basic chiropractic principles.

Can’t wait to see more of the D.C. area as the week goes on, and to see what other inspirations I get for my blog.

Thanks so much for the writings you provide to the profession. It’s a constant reminder of where we are, where we’re going, and where we’re headed, and that’s relative to where a doctor’s head is. I know that I can say I definitely have noticed a huge change in how our practice is progressing now that we have a system that allows us to practice with the principles of chiropractic. God Bless You my brother!
